Helen and I decided last year when the first announcement of the Great American RV Rally, that we would attend. Since this was our first year of RVing, we thought it would be fun to attend a Rally. Little did we know that there would somewhere between 5,000 and 6,000 other rigs at the rally. From our church there are three of us going to be there.

Once that decision was made then we had to decide how to get there. Since we hadn't seen Southeastern Utah, and everybody raves about it, that was the starting point. Then it was easy to add going to Santa Fe, Snyder, OK and Benton, AK to see Helen's relatives. And since we were in the area, we would meet friends in Branson, MO and then stop in Pittsburg, KS to do Tennent/Tennant genealogy research. Next we would visit Dick's nephew and his wife in Iowa, and visit Dick's daughter and husband in St. Paul.

Finally, we would be headed for the Rally but we would take a stop in the Rapid City, SD area to see all the sights. We haven't decided what to do after the RV Rally but Cheyenne Days are the weekend after the RV Rally (but as is shown below we turned North.)

Seattle to Moab, Utah
to Chinle, Arizona (canceled to due to extreme heat)
to Cortez, Colorado
to Santa Fe, New Mexico
to Snyder, Oklahoma
to Benton, Arkansas
to Branson, Missouri
to Pittsburg, Kansas
to St. Paul, Minnesota
to Rapid City, South Dakota
to Gillette, Wyoming
to Cody, Wyoming
to Red Lodge, Montana
to Spokane, Washngton
